My story is rooted in connection, purpose, and a deep commitment to the disability community.
This is the journey that led me here.
A JOURNEY OF PASSION AND PURPOSE
You Belong Media was created from a deeply personal journey — one that brought together my two greatest passions into a single, aligned path.

With over 15 years in digital media and over 7 years working within the disability community, I found myself called to merge creativity with purpose.
A TURNING POINT
Earlier in my career, I built a life around photography and digital art, but something was missing.

It wasn't until life forced me to slow down that I began searching for something more meaningful.
​
That search lead me to the disability community — and it changed everything.
A CALLING THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
What started as a career shift became a calling.
​
Supporting individuals in their daily lives taught me what it truly
means to be person-centered; to listen, to advocate, and to
honor each person's story.
​
I started my journey working in a group home taking care of 7 amazing individuals who forever changed my life. I began as a Direct Support Professional, and then served as the House Manager.
I later moved on to Enriching Lives Family Home Agency where I learned about the beautiful living opportunity for individuals, to be apart of families in the community. While working with Enriching Lives I served as a Direct Support Professional, Social Work Coordinator, Certification Specialist, and Social Work Supervisor.

These experiences shaped not only my career, but who I am.

To create content that reflects people as they truly are.
